Erasmus+ Travel and Accomodation Grant
Each year, 15 grants are available for students studying at the partner universities. The grant is a fixed amount that is reimbursed to the TECTU grant recipient after the summer school.
Eligibility
To be an eligible grant applicant, students/researchers/academics must either study or work at one of the project's partner universities. When applying for the grant, please indicate that in the letter of motivation.
Terms for receiving the grant
Grant recipients are required to attend all five full days of the summer school (Monday 15th - Friday 19th). After the program, they must submit receipts for travel expenses. Reimbursement will then be processed up to the maximum grant amount allocated to their university (listed below). Please note: if your expenses exceed the allocated grant amount, reimbursement will be limited to the grant amount listed. If your expenses are below the grant amount, you will be reimbursed only for the actual amount spent.
The amount
The grant amount depends on the distance from the summer school location. The grant covers the accommodation at the venue Danakilde (arrival on Sunday, June 14th, departure on Saturday, June 20th) as well as travel expenses up to the following amounts:
Aarhus University: 20 €
University of Bielefeld: 230 €
University of Groningen: 230 €
University of Iceland: 330 €
University of Ljubljana: 330 €
Technion - Israel Institute of Technology: 600 €
Participants receiving the grant will be assigned to a 3- or 4-person room unless other is requested (see more details here). The grant does not cover meals at the summer school.
